Getting Around...

The Casa Blanca Hotel has a great location just 70 meters away from the beach. We also have a very nice and well maintained pool.

Wind surfers and Kite surfers can launch right from the beach in front of Casa Blanca. It is recommend only for experienced surfers as there is a little reef to one side.

You can also sail downwind to Cabarete Reef for windsurf wave riding or kite surf down to kite beach which is a 5 minute ride. You can also stay on the beach near the Casa Blanca and play in the beach break waves.

Free storage for your gear at Casa Blanca Hotel is possible or you can choose one of the windsurf centers in the Cabarete Bay, e.g. Club Mistral, 200 meters away from Casa Blanca, or Fanatic Center, http://www.fanatic-cabarete.com/. They are small, friendly and offer good prices just 500 meters away.

Supermarket Janet is just 50 meters down the street. Prices for local food products are a little less than in Europe or North America.

In Cabarete Center, 500 meters away, there are several banks with ATM machines and counter service.

The current exchange rate is around 33 Dominican Pesos for $1.00 USD and 25 Pesos for $1.00 CAD.

Many bars and restaurants are also within walking distance. There is 24hrs medical service at Servi-Med in Cabarete Center. The doctors speak English, French, German, Italian.

For travelling around the island there are the minibus " Guaguas ", or for longer distances there is Caribe Tours Buses with AC. .In Cabarete everything is within walking distance, but for the lazy ones, and the sun makes you lazy, there are " motor bike taxis", for 10-20 Pesos.
